We’re thrilled to announce Pragnell as a benefactor of The King’s Foundation. In reflection of our shared commitment to sustainability, we are privileged to support their programmes focused on the preservation of traditional hand craftsmanship and the creation of a world in which we can live in harmony with nature.

A More Sustainable World

The King's Foundation (previously known as The Prince's Foundation) was created through the merger, in 2018, of The Prince’s Foundation for Building Community, The Prince’s Regeneration Trust, The Great Steward of Scotland’s Dumfries House Trust and The Prince’s School of Traditional Arts.

The King's Foundation provides holistic solutions to challenges facing the world today. They champion a sustainable approach to how we live our lives and build our communities, running a diverse programme of education and training for all ages and backgrounds, to regenerate and care for places where communities thrive and that visitors enjoy.

The work of the Foundation is inspired by The King's philosophy of harmony: that by understanding the balance, the order and the relationships between ourselves and the natural world we can create a more sustainable future.

The King’s Foundation Awards at St James’s Palace

Following our 2024 sponsorship of the Emerging Talent Award at the inaugural King's Foundation Awards held at St. James's Palace, Pragnell is proud to announce we have broadened our support to encompass all categories at the 2025 Awards Ceremony.

The King's Foundation Awards aim to celebrate their wide-ranging work to promote the preservation of artisanal craftsmanship by highlighting the achievements of students who have contributed to the foundation's mission. The 2024 Pragnell Emerging Talent Award was presented by David Beckham to Kadijah Osmanatu Yainkain Dumbuya, a graduate of the King's Foundation diploma year. Kadijah's work draws inspiration from West African sculpture, exploring how portraiture is influenced by the physical environment and culture that surrounds it. Following her time with the King's Foundation, Kadijah secured a place at The Ruskin, Oxford University, to study fine art. We wish her great success in the future.

Inspired by Royal Origins

Carved into 18ct gold and set with fine diamonds, this 400 year old ‘Royal Court’ pattern granted by King James I was discovered when renovating the Tudor building, which houses our showroom in Stratford-upon-Avon.

In support of our Royal heritage we have partnered with The King’s Foundation by pledging to donate a portion of the proceeds of sales of the Origins collection to continue supporting their work promoting and protecting artisanal craft skills. The Royal Court pattern has long been a source of inspiration, influencing countless designs over the years and becoming an integral part of Pragnell’s Origins. Expertly hand-carved in rich 18ct gold and delicately accented with diamonds, each piece in our new Origins collection embodies refined sophistication and timeless craftsmanship, forming a striking suite of statement jewels.
